Delivery Information
Once an order has been processed the delivery address for that order cannot be changed. We are also unable to redirect mail once an order has been processed.
Deliveries cannot be made to PO Box addresses.
It is important that the delivery details given are accurate to avoid the carrier being unsuccessful in attempting delivery. Delivery instructions can be added to assist delivery. It is advisable to make these as clear and precise as possible. It is also important to give an “all hours” phone number in case the carrier needs to make contact with you before or at time of the delivery.
Please supply a delivery address where there will be someone in to sign for your parcel. If there is nobody in when the courier calls, they will leave a card. You can then phone them to arrange delivery for another day or collect your goods from your local depot. If you do not contact them within 5 working days, the goods will be returned to Towing Equipment Limited – the cost of returning the goods will be borme by the customer.
Please note that due to carriers' terms and conditions of carriage, any item that is requested by the customer to be left without a signature is left totally at the customer's risk. We, nor the carrier, will accept liability for damage or loss of a package or its contents if it has been left without a signature at the customers’ request.
Delivery – Next Day Carriers
We currently offer delivery to addresses in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland only.
We use DPD Ireland as next day carriers. This means that your goods will usually arrive the next working day. It is our intention that goods in stock ordered before 3pm should be received within 24 hours.
There are no deliveries on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays. Generally, next working day orders placed on a Friday will be delivered on the following Monday, next working day orders placed on a Saturday or a Sunday will be delivered on the following Tuesday.
Our Next Day courier service costs €10.00 (incl Vat).
Larger sized products may incur a higher courier charge or in some instances can only be collected from our premises. You will be notified of this on the product description page and in the Shopping Cart.
Towing Equipment Ltd will make every effort to deliver the goods as soon as possible after your order has been accepted. However, Towing Equipment Ltd will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through any reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery. In this case, we may inform you of the delay and the reason for the delay as soon as is practical.
Collection from Premises – Click and Collect
Items ordered on line can be collected from our Western Industrial Estate, Dublin premises. Simply select ‘Collect from Premises’ when completing your Order and the goods can be collected on the following working day between 9.15 – 17.00 Monday to Friday.
Please note that to prevent fraud, goods will not be released without presenting a copy of your order confirmation/email as proof of purchase together with either a bank card with your name on it, or some other form of Photo Id (eg. driving licence, passport, etc).
